He notes the industry's strong growth from 19% of exports in 1982 to 27% today.
Both the profitability of dairying and the excellent growth outlook suggests to MyFarm that dairy will grow its exports by more than 40% over the next five years. Let's hope for NZ the rest of our exports grow at a similar pace, therefore avoiding looming current account problems and helping NZ remain a first world economy.
