Ruakākā solar-to-hydrogen farm powers ahead to fuel heavy transport

A massive truckload of solar panels arrived in Ruakākā this week as Hiringa Energy starts work on its first solar-to-hydrogen farm.

Built on a 5ha site beside Port Marsden Highway (SH15), the project will generate renewable energy to produce green hydrogen – another step towards a low-emissions transport future for New Zealand in the global effort to reduce climate change...
